Resolution
To workaround this issue, enable the Security Profile in the CIM server.
To enable the Security Profile in the CIM server:
- Log in to vCenter Server as an administrator from the vSphere Client.
- Click the ESX host in the inventory.
- Click the Configuration tab.
- Click the Security Profile link.
- Click Properties.
- Click CIM Server > Options.
- Select Start and Stop with host.
- Click Start > OK.
